Beginners need a board that holds its shape. Look for a flat rocker and wide rails for stability on the beach. We hand-shape every board to ensure it stays true to the water.
WAVE CONDITIONS
For powerful swells, we recommend a longboard with a gentle rocker. It provides the perfect balance between speed and stability. Our boards are designed for the Guanacaste surf.
THE RAIL
Always check the rail. A sharp rail is for carving, a rounded rail is for paddling. We hand-glass every rail to ensure it stays sharp and true for your next session.
